This VRBO home will be your next return-to Arcata stay! The Garden Getaway is a 2 story 3 bed 2.5 bath with a large kitchen, open dining room, plenty of cozy living and lounging areas and surrounded by gorgeous gardens with flowers, trees, shrubs, and succulents where something is always in bloom!
Downstairs, you'll enter the home to the spacious and open living and dining room, with a large dining table for 6. In the living room there is an upright piano and large comfy couch, the fireplace is non-operational but the home has central heat. The family room is set up for movie nights or a cozy day of lounging on the couch and reading a book while gazing into the backyard. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and tools for your group's best chef - complete with gas range and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.
The 3 bedrooms and a work space are located upstairs. In the primary bedroom there is a comfy king bed, large walk in closet with lots of shelving, and a bathroom with vanity and a tub/shower combo. The other two bedrooms each have a double (full) bed, ample closet space, a chest of drawers and share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Whether you are here work work or play, we have an upstairs work space with a monitor and a keyboard to hook up your laptop for a comfortable working experience. The garage is shared with a long term tenant has the washer and dryer, there is a separate locked entrance fo each side to the garage, there is no garage parking.
Experience the thoughtfully planned gardens in the fenced backyard, with a large decked patio area, lawn space with a fire pit and outdoor seating. The backyard borders the Cypress Grove Creamery, an internationally award winning goat cheese creamery in Arcata. The yard looks into the solar array for the creamery it provides a meadow setting and nice barrier to home, foot traffic and noise!
